Teen pregnancy hot lines connect pregnant teens to members of different organizations where they can discuss pregnancy related issues or questions. Phone counseling is available for women with various situations. Women who want to know about their options, need someone to talk to about the kind of lifestyle they should maintain during pregnancy will find hot lines helpful.

Planned Parenthood Federation of America provides counseling and referrals. Its number is 800.230.PLAN(7586). America's Pregnancy Helpline offers information about pregnancy options for women of all ages but has a specific line for teenagers. Its number is 888.672.2296.

The California Teratogen Information Service, or CTIS, has a toll-free Pregnancy Risk Information hot line reachable by the number 800.532.3749. The CTIS hot line can help women who intend to see their pregnancy to term to understand the effect of different drugs, alcohol and lifestyle choices that can affect an unborn child. The main purpose of the Line is to educate women about preventable birth defects. Counselors can also refer teen patients to the CTIS, which will contact him or her. If someone is interested in volunteering their services and advice to CTIS, the Pregnancy Risk Information Line accepts volunteer application.

Other help outlets are the Planned Parenthood website's live chat option. This allows teens to talk to someone anonymously about STDs, pregnancy and any other body or sex questions. The CTIS also offers live chat options.
